2010 So Far...

Well, we finally did it. I did it. I gave in and started a family blog. There are so many people we want to keep in touch with. You want to know what's going on with us, and we want to know what's going on with you. The truth is, life keeps everyone so busy that we tend to do a less-than-stellar job at keeping in touch. So, here's one more attempt.

Since it's only March, I suppose this initial blog is the perfect spot to reflect on 2010 so far, and to identify the moments that have made the year stand out already!

January

I suppose the most memorable thing about January 2010 was the Super Bowl. We enjoyed behaving obnoxiously with some of our closest friends as we cheered the Saints to victory! We're still celebrating, evidenced by the tribute that continues to adorn our breakfast table!

February
Love. Snow. The two words that represent February 2010. To be quite honest, the snow came first! Who knew it could snow so much in East Texas? We enjoyed making snow angels, building snow men, and throwing snowballs. We even liked drinking coffee brewed on the gas grill--we did have a power outage for several hours. We had to document the day well--who knows when it will happen again?! It was beautiful...and fun. Granted, our snowman was not the most impressive one on the block!

Valentine's Day. Chocolate. Parties. We spent quite a bit of time wrapping up the Transformer and Princess valentines that were selected for Nikolas and Viktoria's class parties. Here are some pics from Viktoria's class party at the Wee Learn Center:

March

So now March is here. This will be a big month! Nikolas has started his second season of soccer, had his first Kindergarten musical performance, we have big spring break plans, and Viktoria will turn 2. Stay tuned for March Madness with the Roudkovski family!
