SO, Friday night our group had an interesting adventure!! We had the opportunity to attend an Aussie sporting event....a footy game!! We watched the Brisbane Broncos against the Gold Coast Titans...no contest!! What was so funny was that our Aussie "guide" was amazed at the group's ability to get into the game! He kept saying, "You's didn't even know who the Broncos were last week....and you's don't even know the rules!!" He was right, but we made a spectacle of ourselves. We tried to explain American football and the emotional involvement of the spectators. I don't think he got it....nor did any of the other Aussies sitting around us. We were clearly the most excited and dedicated Broncos fans in the stadium!
