We returned to Redcliffe (and indoor beds) on Tuesday evening. Then we spent a couple days in the classrooms and with the Mueller College crew before heading off to the Gold Coast on Saturday. Friday night, our group participated in a youth rally. The Roudkovski family actually took off Friday afternoon with Viktor's cousin, Gregg, to spend the night in Brisbane with family.

Our stay in Brisbane was very, very cool. We got to catch up with Val and Gregg, their daughter Rachel, and Gregg's mother who was there visiting. The coolest thing about that was, Viktor had never met Gregg's mom. She is the sister of Viktor's grandfather, and she helped raise Viktor's dad. It was neat for him to get to visit with her and hear stories about how his dad grew up. It was a pretty emotional time for the family, and a reminder of the importance of keeping in touch! Rachel and I are now facebook friends....
